Chris joined the firm in 2009. His main focus is representing individuals in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy filings but he also handles a number of family, probate and business matters. Whether he is representing an individual that has fallen on hard times or a business on the verge of making it big, Chris’s attention to detail and the needs of the client is a great asset to the firm. He was voted Best Business Lawyer in the “Best of Denton County” publication in 2016.
EducationChris received his law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2008. Prior to law school, Chris received an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 and then attended the University of North Texas and received his MBA in 2004.
BackgroundChris was born and raised in Denton and graduated from Denton High School in 1998. His mother, Clara H. Henry, M.D., is and has been a Dermatologist in Denton since 1980. Chris’s educational background in science, business, and law gives him a unique perspective on any dispute including those involving complex business structures. However, due to his experience with small businesses, he understands the issues and potential obstacles that affect them as well.
